d2jsp.org was founded in 2002 by Paul Taulborg and is a support forum for all games, whether through trading, tournaments, discussion or information. We have changed and grown into the largest gaming and trading community on the Internet.
 d2jsp.org is currently a huge international social network community and trading nexus, which focuses around an economy based on d2jsp Forum Gold. Players can buy and trade Forum Gold for numerous goods and services across a diverse platform of online games and users.
 d2jsp is also the home of Ladder Slasher, a free competitive hack and slash style RPG.
- Instant Messenger / Irc.d2jsp.org Updates by njaguar

- Hello everyone!
A few days ago I pushed out a completely rewritten version of the Instant Messenger that makes use of a custom coded IRC server that I wrote. You should have the same functionality you've come to expect with the old dIM, plus more features with the new. As before, all messages and notifications will be real-time. All guilds that purchased a chat automatically have a channel within the IRC, and any new purchases are sync'd automatically.
A brief summary of additional new features:
- You can use a 3rd party IRC client to connect to the network, just point it to irc.d2jsp.org, port 6667
- You will now get notifications whenever any user replies to one of your topics.
- You can connect from multiple locations, and all activity will be sync'd to each connection. What this means is that you could have the IM open at home, and on your phone, at the same time.
- Public chat channels (#d2jsp, etc)
- Ability to make guild chat channels public, as well as rank options to set auto op and voice modes for guild members.
- You can directly message any user that is currently online, they no longer have to be on your friend list.
Just as before, you will still receive New PM, Gold, Friend Requests, and My Events notifications via the IM/IRC. Just leave it open to take advantage of this feature.
Since I wrote the IRCIM server from scratch, I have full control over its features, which means that it is a "closed system" and requires a d2jsp account in good standing. All site rules apply to every aspect of d2jsp, including the IRC/IM.

- Hello everyone!
A new feature has been added to user profiles that allows you to view a users recent posts and topics. On the left side of a profile, you will see two new links:
View Recent Posts
View Recent Topics
Upon clicking one of these, you will be taken to a page that shows the most recent posts or topics written by that user.
Please note that there are a few restrictions to this:
- The recent posts/topics are from approximately the last 30 days, or 50 posts/25 topics, whichever is higher.
- You may only view other members posts, but not Members++ or higher.
If you need to view posts/topics beyond this range, you will need to use the existing Search All Posts feature.

- Hello Everyone!
A few days ago I rolled out some new trade forum features that have been in use in the Ladder Slasher section for about 6 months now. By now, most of you have probably already seen the updates, but if not, swing on over to any of the larger game trade forums to see the new updates.
Here is a summary of the new features:
- Trades organized by FT/ISO/Services
- Each trade forum has it's own Price Check
You can click the tabs along the top of the topic list to filter by any of these categories, or use the default All Topics view to view everything.
In the short term, if you need assistance or help regarding this update, please read or post in General Help. We will be updating the Help guides in the coming days to reflect these new changes. Also, this will be rolled out to other forums in the Other Games section as time goes on, and the needs necessitate.
